II. Mark-Up Your Writing w/ Speaking Notes

III. READ ALOUD 

• You cannot pass around your papers here.  You must read aloud.
• Using your phone, please time yourself and see EXACTLY how long it takes to read this.  You must be at least FOUR minutes but no longer than FIVE minutes!
  
• Read with as much emotion and charge that you can!

Points to Discuss:

1. What is the main issue, point of view, or lesson for the audience here?
2. How is pathos established?  What would get you more emotionally involved?
3. Could the order of events and descriptions be changed in some way?
4. What aspects of the rhythm, tempo, or speed could be done differently and why?

IV. Introduction to Audacity

1. Come to our next class with an mp3 of YOUR VOICE RECORDING THIS STORY!  Use your phone, computer, or audacity.  
   
2. Come with a mp3 of at least 3 songs that you will mash-up.
3. Work on your Music Plan right now on your marked-up story.  Decide when and where the songs will come in. 
   
4. For each song that you plan to use, explain in 2-3 sentences why you have chosen that song and what part of the song you will chose.
   
5. Take a photo of your final marked-up story.  Be prepared to put this marked-up paper on your ePortfolio at the final exam.
