I. Presentations: Yerilsa (first presenter) & Valentina (second presenter)
II. Activity: SENTENCE STRUCTURE (required of all ENG 201)
III. Proofreading Activity:Reading Backwards
By all means, work with your partner today, but you EACH need your own INDIVIDUAL COPY of your writing. You are responsible for editing YOUR copy and submitting it with all other drafts attached. Do not be afraid to mess up the work. READ. IT. BACKWARDS.
IV. DIGITAL JUSTICE DECISIONS (IN PREPARATION FOR NEXT WEEK'S WEBSITE DESIGN)
BEFORE THE NEXT CLASS: Go to the website and click on the tab called “Rhetoric and Web Design.” Read everything that is there. Be sure to look at the sample weebly websites at the bottom of the webpage. Click on some of those websites and get a sense of how this platform works.
Before you come to class, decide which website role you want. There are four roles. Read the webpage called “Your Website Roles” to see what these roles are. When you meet your group members again, you will be officially naming your individual roles. If you are absent, a group role will be assigned to you. Groupings will NOT be changed after this day of class.
V. Your first task will be to design an “About Me” page so start writing and organizing that now (“Your About Me Page” is a subpage under “Rhetoric & Web Design”).
