QUESTIONS: Who is the speaker? Who is the target audience? What is the purpose? What is the message? Pathos, logos, or ethos? And what does the speaker do with it? |
For many of you, you are simply stating that if someone/something has a lot of followers, then it is rhetorically effective. THAT IS FAR TOO SIMPLE.
The point is to analyze the EFFECT and AFFECT. A good make-up tutorial can have a lot of views and be done well... because it is trying to SELL you something. Facebook users who insist that the Holocaust never happened may have a lot of viewers and likes... they are STILL LYING and catering solely to anti-semitic racists. Go deeper than this. |
