Today is the last day to submit anything Assignments #1-13. There are 24 assignments in all. This needs to be submitted in hardcopy form in class. There are no exceptions.
If you get sick or have a computer issue, it won't matter... #1-13 will not be accepted after today.
April 1 is the last day to drop. If you are missing 1/2 of the assignments from #1-14, you should consider dropping the class because it is unlikely that you will pass.

IV. Back to RHETORIC/ Back to DIGITAL RHETORICS
QUESTIONS: Who is the speaker? Who is the target audience? What is the purpose? What is the message? Pathos, logos, or ethos? And what does the speaker do with it? |
For many of you, you are simply stating that if someone/something has a lot of followers, then it is rhetorically effective. THAT IS FAR TOO SIMPLE.
The point is to analyze the EFFECT and AFFECT. A good make-up tutorial can have a lot of views and be done well... because it is trying to SELL you something. Facebook users who insist that the Holocaust never happened may have a lot of viewers and likes... they are STILL LYING and catering solely to anti-semitic racists. Go deeper than this. |
