I. Announcements​

• Remember to look for the right dates under "CYPHER" to find your readings!
• If you are 100% sure of your presentation's topic, add it to the sign-up sheet.  Do NOT duplicate a topic.​

• All presentation links must be emailed (with editor access) the day before (the slides do not need to be complete)
• When absent, please look at the agenda for that day of class to see what you missed
• Next Presentations are Wednesday, 4/9: Gustavo; Ben + Grace
• Grading still in progress on presentations and project #2... apologies for the delay due to illness (stay healthy!)​​

III. New & Final Theme: "TechnoRacism

 Our next and last project will be a collaborative website on technoracism. Work on your submissions based on this.  Consider, for instance, using an infographics for upcoming assignments that you can later add to your webpages.  Imagine yourself writing to educate a public audience. (Make sure you have also completed the pairing questionnaire).

Directions: We will listen in two halves.  Take notes.  After we take notes and discuss, we will use class time to create an infographic about this video.  Feel free to work/discuss with a partner, but make sure you have your own individual infographic.  This does not need to be perfect and finished--- just get it started.  You might use this later on your website.

Making an Infographic

REQUIREMENTS

1. Make a clear title
2. Choose a color package/ design
3. Choose a single representative image and/or use a series of charts and graphs that are laid out in a clear way
4. Highlight at least 3-5 central ideas or definitions (these should not be full sentences)
5. Go beyond 3-5 central ideas OR create longer prose somewhere on the infograph (see the beige part in the sample)
6. ONLY one page!!
7. Include your name(s)
8. Include the citation (see below)
9. Look/be as original as possible
